Hi, I'm Emily! Originally from Brisbane, I now live in Melbourne on Boon Wurrung land.

I've been creating in one way or another for most of my life, learning to sew from my mum (an accomplished quilter) when I was little, and somewhere along the way I've picked up some knitting and a love for anything crafty and creative.
​
In a past life I was a performing classical violinist, but having moved into a management career I've been needing a fun, artistic outlet that's 100% for me.
​
With 2020's extended lockdowns I took the opportunity to attack my extensive fabric stash and collection of half-finished projects and sewing became my refuge. By night my work desk
transforms into my sewing space and I am now completely
addicted!

My cat (Saint Jiub the Eradicator, aka "Jiub") loves to be involved in whatever I do so you'll see him a lot in my posts. I've been enjoying sharing my work on Instagram, but I love to talk about the things I do and am passionate about (crafting!) so I created this site to be able to go more in depth about all the wonderful things I do and want to make.
